Operation Christmas Child

Last year, we collected 65 shoe boxes. This year, our goal is to get more than last year. You can help out by donating boxes, items, or money.

To help out more, we’re going to Boone, NC on Saturday, December 4 in the morning to help sort out boxes to be shipped to children all over the globe. If you don’t already have a permission form, see Dawn.

Agents for Christ… coming soon

Be in the youth room on Sunday, September 26 at 9:45 AM for IMPACT, a Christ-centered youth drug prevention training class presented by Bill James. Special music by Dave Chaffee. All parents and youth are encouraged to come to this class. Read more about the Agents for Christ ministry here at their website.

ALSO youth: Don’t forget to come to the church on Saturday, September 25 when we take our giant wooden cross and hit the streets of Greeneville. Check back here for updates on that event.

HUGE SUMMER EVENTS

We’ve got a lot coming up this summer: movie nights, fireworks, events and retreats in between, and car washes to pay for them all.

We’re wanting to show the movie To Save a Life to the public for free. The event package costs $129 but comes with the movie, a license to show it to a bunch of people, and hundreds of promo tools like posters and tickets. The main idea right now is to do a kind of drive-in thing – people come and just hang out outside in the back parking lot while watching the movie.
