Luke 15:10 – In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
There is an old song that the Bill Gather’s team sang which is called: That’s When The Angels Rejoice. The chorus is really upbeat and goes:
Only one thing that we’re sure about, that’s gonna make the angels jump and shout…That’s when a sinner makes the Lord his choice, Yes that’s when the Angles rejoice !!!
Matthew 18:14 assures us that God is not willing that anyone should perish—‘In the same way your Father in Heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
We know that great promise that God has given to all in John 3:16—For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, so that whosoever believes on Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.
There are those who believe that their sin is so huge, or so horrible that they are beyond God’s reach. We see however in the above verse that is simply not true at all, after all, if a body was clean already, why would one take a shower. For those of us who have already received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, it is important to take accounting in prayer DAILY at least, to repent of the sins that we have committed throughout the day. We need our minds and hearts to be renewed though the reading and applying of the Word of God.
Be encouraged with Jesus own words to all in Revelation 3:19-21—As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; be zealous therefore, and repent.
Behold, I stand at the door (of your heart), and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcomes, I will grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
