Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
Matthew 18:21

Peter wanted to know if there was a limit as to the amount of forgiveness we are required to give? Jesus’ answer was seventy times seven. The truth in this statement is about forgiveness, therefore as many times as the sin is committed is the number of times that forgiveness should be given. The reason being is that Jesus forgives us.
Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Christ is the example when it comes to how much we should forgive. It is not easy, and it is not convenient but, it is biblical and necessary. It keeps your heart from bitterness and anger. It keeps the door open for restoration. So, if someone sins against you, go ahead and forgive them and you will be pleasing to the Lord.
